TR2 the rooms

When Georgios C. Carabellas (an entrepreneur based  in London who is the founder and creative director of TR2 the lifestyle brand) in 2007, stumbled across four derelict shacks in the traditional part of the main village of Skyros, he felt in love by the first sight with their atmospheric views and  their aura.
I 'm pretty sure that you will fall in love with this guesthouse too... It combines perfectly the Skyrian traditional architecture with contemporary eclectic design and touches of moroccan style. The renovated buildings share a common patio which is tiled with reclaimed old handmade tiles... It is the guesthouse's candy eye which looks like a traditional embroidery! There, you can enjoy your breakfast or a Greek coffee, sitting in a set of traditional Greek round metallic table and rattan chairs. And latter, if the noon doesn't find you in one of the wonderful beaches of the island, you can take a nap in the hammock under the fig trees go the guesthouse.

A Serene Loft

Today, we are going to visit the loft of a yoga teacher in Belgium. Influenced by her work Elsie, the loft owner, chose natural materials in her loft's decoration, in order to create a cozy and warm space! Wood dominates in all spaces; both on the floor and in furniture, always in its natural color so as to bring to our mind connotations by nature... The color used in the majority of spaces is the white and off-white. The only room painted in dark color is the loft's entryway and the bedroom, where the sweet and natural color of chocolate makes the room totally atmospheric and offers a calm and cozy environment to relax and sleep peacefully. The use of white leather couch, daybed and white plastic Panton chairs, give a modern touch to the Country Chic environment that the raw wooden furniture create. In general, the atmosphere is as calm and relaxed as in a yoga studio... You can swinging in the hammock, listening music, wafting from the bottom. Exactly what someone needs for a harmonious life!!!

Summer Cottage in South Africa

Today, I found this simple yet beautiful summer cottage surrounded by this amazing maritime scape of Churchhaven, west coast national park in South Africa. I felt in love immediatelly with its outdoor spaces! Especially that pergola with this breathtaking view of the turquoise water of the sea... I am daydreaming and imagine myself relaxing in the comfortable hammock and enjoying this dreamy view!!! I think that already feel the salty breeze on my body... Perhaps I am in need for holidays! I am soo tired this period.
What do you think about this wonderful cottage? Would you like to spend some days there?
