After a long period of rainy days, finally Spring is oficially here with a wonderful sunny day... Today, I would like to be in the country side, lounging in this super comfy makeshift sofa, gazind at the sea view from the hillside and enjoying the warmth of the sun with my friends! 

It would be a good idea to celebrate the coming of the Spring with this smashed Pavlova with mulberries and roasted rasberry jam

Good morning friends! Have you already wake up or you still snuggle up on the quilt, enjoying the warmth of your bed? Sundays, I love to spend some extra time on my bed and then I am trying to prepare a special breakfast for us... It's something I haven't the time to do the other days of the week so I am enjoying it to much! For today I have found this gingersnap breakfast risotto and I feel ready to try it...What about you?

Happy Sunday...!!! It's about two weeks before Christmas and the festive preparations are in progress... 

Our homes are already decorated, we are thinking for the presents we 'll buy or make for our beloved ones and those days festive smells will flood our homes as we will bake traditional Christmas sweets!

Oh... I really love this period! I love the evening gatherings around the fireplace with a cup of  aromatic tea (I like apple-cinnamon) and a slice of chocolate bundt cake with orange and rosemary, while a natural air freshner will make home smell like Christmas!!!

It's finally the last Sunday of 2014... What are your plans for today? Personally, I can't go out as the last 10 days, a sudden intense backache plagues me, forcing me to stay home without being able to do  almost anything, except surfing the internet & daydreaming of being in an ultimate Christmas destination! Although this bad break, I don't lose my courage & I am planning a festive gathering with friends when everything will be ok...

I would like to try those two delicious recipes; Firstly, the apple, pear & brandy cider to help, keep ourselves cozy & then those embarrassingly simple goat cheese stuffed phyllo swirls with pomegranate, honey & pistachios... Mmm, they both seems to me so yummy!!!

Today, as the weather is colder enough and so cloudy, I woke up with a totally autumn mood, started thinking of autumn decorations about my home, warm fleece blankets, hot beverages flavored with cinnamon and apple... and now that I 'm thinking about it, it's the right time to bake this delicious apple strudel. Because autumn without apple strudel  in our home, would be like summer without the sun and the sea!!! What about you?
