"Flowers can't solve all problems but they are a great start".... This is my moto since years and my mood for today! Try to have freshly cut flowers and greeneries into your vases in order to create happy nooks in your home. Their vivid colors and their unique smell will make you happier and according to feng shui they will help to fix your home's aura... My favourite flower for this season is narcissus. I think that there isn't any better fragrance for the home... I feel it like it derives from heaven!!!

Blooming Eggshells
Hello April... Today, we feel finally that Spring is here! The sun shines warming us with its hot sunbeams and make us feel happy, thinking for Spring projects and planning for excursions in the countryside...
Furthermore, we will celebrate Easter in a week and something. So, it's the right time for some easter decorating ideas for our home! I am really in love with this brilliant idea of creating a lovely super tiny little garden with the help of some eggshells! I find that it would be a unique centerpiece for the Easter table. You could also gift it to your beloved ones... What do you think about it?

Anemones in my home
Although today the weather looks much more like autumn than spring, cause of incessant rain, I am in a totally Spring mood as I had to do some shopping for the Easter decorations of a shop... After my search for light spring decorations and faux Easter eggs, I found myself in a shop which sells flowers at a wholesale price, in order to find some branches of trees. There, I could not resist to buy a lovely bouquet of a hundred anemones!
Oh yes... A hundred anemones which now decorate my living room with their vivid colors, giving a happy note to the space! They really are so beautiful... I tried to get some photos of them but they are a little bit dark cause of the lack of natural light.

Stylizimo House
Today I am so excited as I have to present you an amazing house!!! The new house of Nina Holst, the girl behind the Stylizimo blog. It's about a dreamy house with open spaces and extra wide windows which offer a breathtaking view of its surroundings. The choice of painting almost all of its surfaces in white helps the space to become brighter, while the maintaing of the preexisting wooden ceiling, the wooden floor and the addition of the dining table chairs in the natural color of wood brings the necessary warmth into the space... I love so much the contrast of black and white surfaces and the green touch of plants and flowers situated everywhere in the house, giving their vivid color and offering their positive energy to the house!

Amaryllis vs Ilex
Amaryllis & Illex are considered as the two most popular kind of flowers/plants we use to decorate our homes during Christmas season, after the spruce branches or other greeneries.
Amaryllis catches the eye with its wonderful flower and it is the right choice for chic & luxurious decorations, especially the red one... This is the reason why the majority of weddings taking place during December are mostly decorated with this fabulous flower. There is also the white Amaryllis which fits perfectly to a Scandinavian style decoration (photo No 8).
On the other hand there is the thrifty Ilex which decorates perfectly every space with its woody branches ornate with those red cute berries. I love Ilex too and I find it as the perfect decorative plant for rustic or country spaces.

Happy May day!
Happy May day my friends!!! Today, the weather is amazingly perfect! Ideal for a walk in the countryside in order to gather a bouquet of wildflowers for our May flower wreath! I took a great inspiration from daises, a humble yet so beautiful flower, for the creation of this year's wreath; I hope to find a good amount of them... Otherwise, Greek countryside is full of wildflowers this time of year!!! Have a wonderful day whatever you do...
