Easter Eggs


Today, Maundy Thursday, is the day that we dye Easter eggs in deep red color as according to Orthodox tradition, symbolises the blood of Christ given for the salvation of the world! However, nowadays a lot of people use to dye eggs in different colors or transform them to a piece of art by painting them or with the method of decoupage.
This year I would like so much to dye my Easter eggs like those of the pictures below, but due to lack of time I followed the Greek tradition of red ones...
